Additionally, they have taught seminars on international workers' rights at American University Washington College of Law and worked as a Labor Rights and Trade Senior Researcher at Human Rights Watch. Carol Pier obtained a Bachelor's degree in Government and Spanish, with a concentration in Latin American Studies, from the University of Notre Dame. Carol pursued further education at Harvard Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
