Demet Cress

Demet Cress, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career at Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2003 as a Recruitment Specialist. In this role, they were involved in the recruitment process to address staffing needs.

In 2007, Cress joined MECU of Baltimore as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. Here, they worked on various HR functions and contributed to the overall management of the department.

In 2009, Cress moved to Mercy Medical Center as an Employment Manager. They were responsible for overseeing the recruitment function and supervising a team of 10 staff members.

Cress then transitioned into the role of Executive Recruiter at IMPAQ International, which was later acquired by the American Institutes for Research (AIR). This role involved identifying and recruiting top talent to support the organization's objectives.

Currently, Cress is working at the American Institutes for Research as a Recruiter. In this role, they are involved in conducting behavioral and social science research, delivering technical assistance, and solving urgent challenges in the United States and around the world.

Demet Cress, PHR, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Communication, General from Salisbury University. In 2009, Demet also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
