Katie Herz

Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Katie Herz has a diverse work experience that spans several organizations. Katie started their career at the Alliance to Save Energy as a Program Associate from June 2009 to August 2011. Katie then joined the UCSD PACE Program as an Office Manager in 2011. In 2012, Katie began working at the American Institutes for Research, where they held various roles including Research Assistant from November 2012 to April 2015, Research Associate from April 2015 to April 2018, and finally as a Researcher from April 2018 to the present. In 2018, they also had a brief experience as an Educational Policy Fellow at the Institute for Educational Leadership from September 2018 to May 2019.

Katie Herz obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2007 to 2009. Katie then pursued a Master's Degree in Education Policy Studies at The George Washington University, from 2014 to 2015.
