Kelsey Walter

Senior Research at American Institutes for Research

Kelsey Walter has a diverse work experience in the field of research and policy. Kelsey began their career as a Policy Associate at the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities in 2009 and later transitioned to the role of Program Analyst at the Oregon Department of Human Services. In 2012, Kelsey became the Director of National Core Indicators-Aging and Disabilities at the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities, where they worked until 2017. Kelsey then joined IMPAQ International as a Research Associate, specializing in health research, and remained with the company until 2022. Currently, Kelsey serves as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research.

Kelsey Walter obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from South Dakota State University in the years 2005 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Program Management, Policy, and Administration from Augsburg University from 2007 to 2009.
