Kerstin Carlson Le Floch is an accomplished academic and director with extensive experience in education research. Currently serving as Managing Director at the American Institutes for Research since October 2000, Kerstin has held various positions within the organization, including Principal Researcher, Senior Researcher, and Researcher. Prior to this role, Kerstin worked as a Research Consultant at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education from 1999 to 2000 and as Youth Program Director at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development between 1995 and 1997. Kerstin earned a Ph.D. in Education Organization and Policy Studies and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a B.A. in Political Science and French from Middlebury College.
