Senior Researcher Secondary/ Post-secondary Education at American Institutes for Research

Nada Rayyes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education research and evaluation. Nada is currently working as a Senior Researcher in Secondary/Post-Secondary Education at the American Institutes for Research since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Program Evaluator and Lecturer at California State University-Long Beach from October 2018 to January 2023, with a brief period as a Lecturer from April 2022 to August 2022. Nada also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at USC Rossier EdD in Organizational Change & Leadership online from August 2021 to December 2021.

Nada's earlier work experiences include being a Senior Research Associate at IMPAQ International from June 2010 to September 2018, where they led projects, managed staff, and contributed to business development. Nada evaluated various programs such as an after-school program and a social and emotional learning initiative. Nada also worked as a Research Associate at WestEd from April 2009 to June 2010, and as an Education Research Analyst/Research Fellow at the Los Angeles Unified School District from September 2005 to March 2009. In these roles, they conducted evaluations, case studies, and analyzed the implementation of educational programs and practices.

Nada's career began as an Evaluation Coordinator/Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Barbara from September 2003 to August 2005, where they coordinated evaluations and conducted research.

Nada Rayyes has a strong educational background in the field of education. Nada obtained their Ph.D. in Education from UC Santa Barbara, graduating in 2009. Prior to this, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Social Science/Demography at UC Irvine from 1999 to 2000. Nada'sundergraduate studies were also done at UC Irvine, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, graduating in 1996. Nada Rayyes has also pursued additional certifications, such as the Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research, which they obtained from CITI Program in January 2022.
