Samantha Neiman has extensive work experience in research and education. Samantha began their career in 2003 as an English Language Teacher at the British School of Pisa. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at New York University in various roles, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In 2007, they joined MacroSys, LLC / American Institutes for Research - Education Statistics Services Institute as a Research Associate, and later became a Researcher from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011, Samantha has been working at the American Institutes for Research, starting as a Researcher and progressing to Senior Researcher in 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Researcher.
Samantha Neiman holds a Master's degree in Psychology obtained from New York University in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2002. In addition to their formal education, Samantha has also obtained certifications in Rasch Measurement and Item Response Theory from The Institute for Statistics Education at Statistics.com in March 2019, as well as a Project Management certificate from Northwestern University in August 2016.
