Selma Omerbegovic is an experienced analyst currently working at the American Institutes for Research since December 2022, focusing on USAID/BiH Monitoring and Evaluation Support. Previously, Selma held the position of political intern at the European Union Special Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina from October 2021 to October 2022. Additional roles include serving as Outgoing Exchange Coordinator and Ingoing Exchange Coordinator at AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina (July 2020 - August 2021), an intern at Documenta - Centre for Dealing with the Past (June 2021 - July 2021), and a junior researcher for the Balkan Region Peace Mapping Project during an internship at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (April 2018 - July 2018). Selma Omerbegovic holds a Master's degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe from the Global Campus of Human Rights (2020 - 2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (2016 - 2020). Earlier education includes an IB Diploma from Ionios School (2014 - 2016) and the MYP from International School of The Hague (2010 - 2014).
