Songtao Song

Songtao Song has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 at PetroChina Co. Ltd. as an Assistant of Economist Intern. In this role, Song provided support to economists for a three-month period.

In 2017, Song worked as a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University, where they were actively involved in the Graduate course of Department of Statistics. Their responsibilities included grading homework, providing weekly office hours for questions, and assisting students with their researches. This role lasted for nine months.

Currently, Song is employed at the American Institutes for Research as a Research Analyst. Songtao utilizes advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Advanced Filtering to analyze and manipulate standardized testing data for K-12 students across more than 20 states in the US.

Songtao Song completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Xidian University from 2011 to 2015. Songtao then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Statistics at The George Washington University from 2016 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the GRE and TOEFL from ETS Global B.V. in December 2015 and November 2015 respectively. Songtao also received certifications for the College English Test 6 and College English Test 4 from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education of P.R. China in 2013 and 2012 respectively.
