Tania Dutta has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Tania started their career as an Advocacy Campaign Leader at the United Nations Development Program from July 2002 to June 2004. Tania then worked as a Research Associate at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from August 2005 to August 2008. Tania then pursued their Master's degree and worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy from December 2008 to May 2010.
In 2009, Tania founded and served as the President of InnoRes: Innovations in Research from August 2009 to May 2010. Afterward, they worked as an Assistant Director of Policy Research at the Business-Higher Education Forum from July 2010 to June 2011. Tania then joined the Center for Medical Technology Policy, where they were a Project Manager and Research Associate from June 2011 to August 2014.
From January 2012 to July 2012, Tania served as a Business Committee Member at the Global Innovation Summit. Tania currently holds a position as a Senior Researcher in Health Policy Research at the American Institutes for Research since August 2014. In this role, they lead and conducts research and analysis, manages complex research projects, and focuses on various healthcare topics such as patient and stakeholder engagement, comparative effectiveness research, behavioral health, health equity, and payment reform.
Tania Dutta obtained their Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Baylor College of Medicine, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their Master of Public Policy degree at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Public Policy from 2008 to 2010. In December 2019, Tania Dutta also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
