Michael Sperounes

As a Senior Vice President of Litigation, Michael Sperounes leads and establishes strategic direction for our litigation department, while identifying trends and emerging issues facing Florida’s complex and dynamic property insurance market.

Michael is a graduate of the University of South Florida (Honors: 1985) and Stetson College of Law (J.D. 1989). Sperounes joined American Integrity in 2018 and he brings significant trial experience focused on first- and third-party insurance defense. He has advised and represented Florida’s property insurers in first-party property disputes arising from sinkhole, windstorm, fire, mold and water losses as well as represented insurers in coverage litigation.

Michael’s prior near thirty (30) years of legal experience includes the position of Tampa Managing Partner for one of the oldest Florida regional insurance defense firms.
