Stephen Winters

Stephen Winters serves as the AIC Central Regional Administrator for American International College, overseeing off-campus graduate education programs in Central Massachusetts. Additionally, Stephen teaches special education courses and educational philosophy as an adjunct professor at the same institution. With a long-standing commitment to advocating for special needs children, Stephen has volunteered as an educational surrogate parent since 2000, participating in IEP meetings and ensuring the delivery of appropriate educational services. Previously, Stephen worked as a teacher specializing in inclusion for Shrewsbury Public Schools, managing individualized education programs for adolescents with learning disabilities. Stephen's background also includes over 22 years of service in the United States Air Force, culminating in roles as an air transportation journeyman and first sergeant. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in education and related fields from Worcester State University, Fitchburg State University, and the Community College of the Air Force.
