Melissa Dickerson

Melissa Dickerson is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Managing Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Genstar Capital since September 2004, Melissa oversees all operational aspects of the $49B AUM private equity firm, including systems, technology, administration, investor relations, and compliance. In addition to this role, Melissa has been a board member of the American Investment Council since January 2020, contributing to the growth and advocacy of the private investment industry. Previously, Melissa held the position of Controller at American Industrial Partners from 1999 to 2004 and worked as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte from 1995 to 1999. Melissa holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Economics from Vassar College.
