Julie Schair

Chief Development Officer at AMERICAN JEWISH COMMITTEE

Julie Schair was named AJC's Managing Director of Resource Development in 2012, and has since been named Chief Development Officer. She came to AJC in 2001 to head the AJC Centennial Campaign, and after its successful completion became Director of Donor Relations, Chief of Staff for the Executive Director, and then Director of Leadership Development and Individual Giving. She received a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton (Phi Beta Kappa) and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Before coming to AJC, Schair was a Development Associate at Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley, and Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations at New York University Law School.
