Jabulani Chen Pereira

Jabulani (Jabu) Chen Pereira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights and advocacy, currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at American Jewish World Service since December 2022. Jabulani holds board positions with Spring Strategies, ILGA World, and the International Trans Fund, while also serving as Executive Director at Iranti, a nonprofit focused on the LGBTIQ community since its inception in 2012. Previous roles include Africa Director at IGLHRC (now Outright International), Advocacy Manager at SOUL CITY INSTITUTE and Foundation for Human Rights, and Campaigns Manager at the South African Human Rights Commission.
