Ian Swietkowski

Tournament Director at American Junior Golf Association

Ian Swietkowski has a diverse background in sports and operations, currently serving as a Tournament Assistant for the American Junior Golf Association since March 2024. Ian has gained valuable experience at prestigious events, including a short tenure as a Masters Tournament Employee at Augusta National Golf Club in April 2024. Prior to this, Ian interned with the American Junior Golf Association as a Traveling Operations Intern from May to August 2023 and worked on the field crew for the New York Boulders from May 2021 to May 2023. Ian also completed an internship with the Lackawanna County Adult Probation and Parole in early 2022. Ian holds a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton, graduated in 2022.

American Junior Golf Association

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA conducts more than 100 tournaments annually for talented junior golfers who intend to play college golf. Through AJGA events, college coaches gain valuable recruiting information to help them find the players best suited for their teams. As these juniors receive college golf scholarships and move on to the next level, it is the fulfillment of the AJGA's mission.
