Candace Roy

Candace Roy, CHES, currently serves as a Public Education Specialist at the American Kidney Fund since October 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Pet Sitter at Rover.com and various roles at American University, including AUx I Peer Facilitator, Student Fundraiser, Peer Health Educator, Health and Safety Ambassador, Orientation Leader, and Alternative Break Leader from July 2020 to May 2023. Candace also interned as a TropEco Intern at James Cook University focusing on Community Garden initiatives and participated as a member of the International Youth Leadership Council with Advocates for Youth. Additional roles include Program Management Intern with the Association for Community Empowerment Solutions and Brand Associate at American Eagle Outfitters Inc. Candace's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from American University and current enrollment in a Master of Public Health program at The George Washington University - Milken Institute School of Public Health.
