Brian Cherry

Brian Cherry is an experienced boat builder and composite technician with a strong background in the marine and renewable energy industries. Currently serving as a boat builder for American Magic in the 37th America's Cup, Brian has previously held positions at Roberts Composites, where expertise in creating lamination schedules and custom composites was developed. Additional experience includes roles at Open Waters Design and Manufacturing and SKY CLIMBER RENEWABLES, focusing on composite production and wind turbine maintenance. Brian's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, complemented by leadership experience as Vice President of the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers chapter.
