Patrice Castel

Patrice Castel is a skilled Hydraulic Technician currently working with American Magic for the 37th America's Cup since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Stellantis as a Hydraulic Technician and Prototype Technician, contributing to motorsport prototypes such as the Le Mans Hypercar. As Team Leader at PSA MOTORSPORT, Patrice managed a mechanics team while overseeing prototyping and car assembly, including a Citroën C3 WRC test car in 2017. Previous positions at Citroën Racing involved being the N°2 Mechanic for Yvan Müller’s Citroën C-Elysee WTCC race car and chassis mechanic for the Citroën DS3 WRC test car. With a foundation in motorsport mechanics established at Peugeot Sport, Michel Enjolras sport, and Mercedes-Benz Brest, Patrice Castel brings extensive expertise in various mechanical systems and racing support. Additionally, education at Wall Street English France has been pursued since January 2008, currently achieving a B2 proficiency level.
