Adam Klein, P.E. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Adam worked as the Chief Engineer at American Maritime Officers and as the CEO and Founder of Even Keel Development Inc. Adam also served as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve. Adam volunteered as a 2nd Engineer for YWAM Medical Ships - Australia, where they implemented innovative engineering solutions to bring healthcare and community assistance to remote areas in Papua New Guinea. Furthermore, they worked as a 3rd Assistant Engineer at Noble Drilling and American Maritime Officers, gaining experience in vessel engineering, maintenance, and repairs. Adam also had the opportunity to serve as the Chief Engineer at Moran Towing Corporation, where they handled bulk fuel transfers and responded to vessel emergencies. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in various engineering disciplines.
Adam Klein, P.E. pursued their education chronologically, starting with their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marine Engineering Systems at the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they also concentrated on Nuclear Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Adam obtained their 3rd Assistant Engineer certification for Steam and Gas Turbine Vessels of Unlimited HP from the U.S. Coast Guard in June 2011.
Later, Adam pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida from 2020 to 2023. In addition to their studies, Adam obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. These certifications include becoming a Professional Engineer (PE) from the Maryland Department of Labor in October 2022, acquiring a Chief Engineer License for Motor Vessels of Unlimited HP from the U.S. Coast Guard in January 2020, and earning a Chief Engineer certification for Steam Vessels of Unlimited HP, also from the U.S. Coast Guard, in January 2020.
Furthermore, Adam obtained a Secret Security Clearance from the US Navy in May 2018.
