Brian Davis

Marine Chief Engineer at American Maritime Officers

Brian Davis has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Brian started their career in 1983 as a Third Assistant Engineer and Second at Allied Tankships. In 1988, they joined American Maritime Officers as a Marine Chief Engineer. Brian then worked at Crowley Maritime from 1988 to 1997, where they served as First and Chief Engineer. From 1997 to 2007, they worked as Chief Engineer at Maersk Line, Limited. In 2007, they returned to Crowley Maritime as a Chief Engineer and later became a Port Engineer, overseeing the installation of new crane control systems. In 2013, Brian joined PASHA Hawaii as a Chief Engineer and was responsible for maintenance activities on board. In 2016, they rejoined Crowley Maritime as a Chief Engineer and also took on the role of on-site Port Engineer and Company representative for a vessel reflagging project. Brian's most recent role was at Crowley starting in 2018, where they were semi-retired.

Brian Davis attended California State University Maritime Academy from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering Technology.
