Charles Cart

Charles Cart has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Charles began their career in 1996 as a Senior Chief Engineer at Lake Michigan Carferry Service, where they were responsible for various shipboard engineering activities, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Charles also ensured compliance with safety and environmental codes. In 2021, Charles moved on to become the Director of Operations at Lake Michigan Carferry, overseeing the company's operations. Currently, in 2022, they hold the position of Chief Engineer at American Maritime Officers, where they are responsible for steam, motor, and gas turbine vessels of any horsepower.

Charles Cart attended the Great Lakes Maritime Academy from 1983 to 1987. Charles also studied at Northern Michigan University from 1979 to 1980. Additionally, Charles had some education at Arkansas State University, Columbia High School, and Midlands Technical College, although specific years or degrees attained are not provided.
