Ilteris Say is an experienced marine engineer with a strong background in maritime operations and engineering roles. Currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at Maersk Line, Limited since November 2020 and simultaneously holding a position with American Maritime Officers, Ilteris has accumulated extensive hands-on experience since beginning in the maritime industry as a 3rd Assistant Engineer at Lake Michigan Carferry from May 2017 to March 2019. Previous roles include Engine Cadet with SUNY Maritime College, where significant responsibilities included task management and support for barge operations, and an internship as a Superintendent Intern at Kaptanoglu Shipping, focusing on communication and operational support. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture from State University of New York Maritime College and dual Bachelor's degrees in Ship Machinery and Management Engineering and Marine Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and State University of New York Maritime College, respectively, Ilteris demonstrates a robust educational foundation in marine engineering principles.
