Joseph Thurman has a comprehensive background in maritime engineering with significant experience in various roles. Currently serving as a 1st Assistant Engineer at American Maritime Officers since January 2017, Joseph has also held positions including 2nd Assistant Engineer and Third Assistant Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Motor Operator at Pacific Drilling from August 2014 to January 2017 and as a Motorman at Seadrill Careers between September 2013 and August 2014. Throughout this career, Joseph has demonstrated expertise in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on rig and shipboard systems, alongside effective communication and terminology usage.
