Scott Black

Scott Black is an experienced Senior Production Specialist at the American Mathematical Society since April 2017, where responsibilities include producing and processing reviews of articles and books, as well as copy editing documents, with proficiency in AMS-TeX. Scott Black has also been engaged in freelance writing, editing, and transcription since 2013, alongside a lengthy tenure at Steven L. Black Landscaping and Snow Removal as a Contract Writer and Laborer until 2020. Previous roles include Water Safety Instructor and Deck Manager at the Ann Arbor YMCA from 2008 to 2019, and Banquet Server Trainer at the University Club of MSU from 2005 to 2008. Scott Black holds a Master's Degree in Written Communication from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Michigan State University.
