Anand Singh

Ama-medical Student Section Chair at American Medical Association

Anand Singh serves as the 2024-2025 Chair of the AMA-Medical Student Section, representing over 55,000 medical students and engaging them in advocacy, leadership, and community service. Singh holds leadership roles within the American Medical Association, including Chair of the Committee on Legislation and Advocacy and oversight of Region 3 efforts across several Southern states. In addition to advocacy work, Singh contributes as a Peer2Peer Tutor at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine, a Student Member on the AMA Foundation Board of Directors, and a member of various councils with the Texas Medical Association. Research initiatives focus on improving healthcare delivery at JPS Health Network, while fellowship experiences include addressing youth mental health and collaboration on community health advocacy with Doctors for America. Singh previously tutored for the MCAT and managed social media engagement at California Northstate University. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree, Singh also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.
