Shannon Haffey

Shannon Haffey serves as Senior Director of Ecosystem Strategies at the American Medical Association since August 2014, where responsibilities focus on chronic disease prevention strategies and enabling health care professionals to implement evidence-based approaches for at-risk patients. Prior roles include Director of Client Strategies and Partnerships, and Director of Value Based Benefit & Reimbursement, emphasizing value-based benefit design and partnerships to improve health outcomes. Prior to the AMA, Shannon worked at Accenture in management consulting, concentrating on the Affordable Care Act, Accountable Care Organizations, and clinical process transformation, achieving recognition including an award from President Obama. Shannon holds an MHSA in Health Services Administration and a BS in Biology and Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
