Te Asia Hunter serves as a Research and Policy Project Administrator at the American Medical Association, focusing on physician satisfaction and practice sustainability, following a role as Project Coordinator in the Center for Health Equity. As a co-founder of Citizens' Public Health Literacy (CIPHER), Te Asia developed public health initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, conducting community assessments and outreach to connect local organizations with essential resources. Additional experience includes working as a COVID Swabber at Rapid Reliable Testing, a Microbiology Laboratory Assistant at Quinnipiac University, and an International Healthcare Field Researcher in Barbados. Te Asia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Quinnipiac University, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public and Urban Policy at The New School.
