Kara Mathews

Kara Mathews is the Membership Coordinator at the American Medical Informatics Association. Kara has over five years of experience managing staff, budgets, and programs for membership organizations. Prior to their current position, they served as the Managing Director for Houston BOMA, where they oversaw staff, the association budget, and association programs, including membership, communications, and events for a membership organization comprised of 700 members. Kara has a proven track record in financial management, office and staff management, and board management.

Kara Mathews holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the University of the Southwest, where they graduated cum laude.
