National Director Of Software Development at Global Medical Response

Danny Parrish has a strong background in IT and software development. Danny is currently serving as the National Director of Software Development at Global Medical Response, where they are responsible for software governance and tracking performance against strategic goals. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Director at the same company, leading application divestiture and collaborating with business teams to complete testing within project timelines. Before joining Global Medical Response, Danny held positions at Envision Healthcare Corporation as an IT Director overseeing Oracle application development and as an ERP Technical Lead. Danny began their career as a Senior Application Developer at CH2M.

Danny Parrish earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Regis University, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2009. In 1990, Danny attended Abilene Christian University, where they studied Biology, but did not obtain a degree. Danny has also obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Agile Development Practices, Be the Manager People Won't Leave, Becoming a Great Conversationalist, and Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect certifications from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2023. Danny also holds a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, obtained in 2020. In addition, Danny has certifications such as Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) from DRI International, ITIL 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice, COBIT® 5 Foundation from APMG International, and The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified from The Open Group, obtained in previous years.
