Noah Smith

Sr. Director, Product Development at Global Medical Response

Noah Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Noah started their career as an intern at the Department of Health and Human Services in 2008, where they worked on coordination and outreach for the Emergency Care Coordination Center. In 2009, they joined Battelle as a Fire and EMS Analyst, providing policy development and research for the Navy's Fire and Emergency Services department. Noah then worked as an EMS Specialist at the U.S. Department of Transportation from 2010 to 2017, focusing on improving EMS systems nationwide.

In 2013, Noah became an elected Commissioner for the Dupont Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission, representing over 2000 residents and advocating for their interests to various government agencies. Noah joined the D.C. Department of Health Care Finance in 2017 as a Program Manager for Health Information Technology & Exchange. In this role, they led initiatives to expand health IT capabilities to Medicaid providers in the District and supervised a team to achieve strategic goals.

Noah's career then took him to Ready, where they held multiple roles. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Market Director, and then from 2021 to 2022, they were a Senior Director, Government Relations. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Product Development at Global Medical Response, starting in 2022.

Throughout their career, Noah has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving emergency care and healthcare systems, working with various stakeholders and government entities.

Noah Smith has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Emergency Medical Services from The George Washington University. Noah also obtained a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy from the same university. Noah holds a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
