Melissa McShepard

Melissa McShepard is the current Director of Operations, Finance and Membership at the American Mental Health Counselors Association. Melissa has previous experience working as an Executive Assistant at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, as well as an office manager at both the Global Fund for Children and The New School for Enterprise & Development Public Charter School. Additionally, Melissa has worked as an Office Support Assistant at the United Nations Foundation and as a Sales & Convention Service Assistant at Marriott International.

Melissa McShepard graduated from Forestville Senior High before completing a certificate of completion from Marriott International. Melissa then studied at Prince George's Community College before receiving their diploma.

Their manager is Joel Miller, Executive Director and CEO. They work with Rebecca Gibson - Director of the Office of Credentialing and Continuing Education, Whitney Meyerhoeffer - Chief Strategic Officer & Director of Communications and State Chapter Relations.
