Andreas Kleiner is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive leadership experience in the global insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as the CEO and President of American Modern Insurance Group since May 2016, Andreas oversees the management of a Munich Re-owned specialty insurance group with approximately 1,200 employees and a significant premium volume. Previously, Andreas held the position of Member of the Board of Management at ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG, focusing on insurance operations in Asia, Turkey, and Greece, and was responsible for a premium volume of about €1 billion with a workforce of 3,000. Prior to these roles, Andreas had a long tenure at Munich Re, where responsibilities included managing operations in Sub-Saharan Africa and overseeing strategic initiatives in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Financial Services from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Business School, an ACII from the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Civil Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
