Eddie Schoen

Eddie Schoen currently serves as Board Treasurer for the American Mountain Guides Association since October 2023. With extensive experience in the outdoor and finance sectors, Eddie has held roles such as Project Manager and Accounting Manager at Wyssen Avalanche Control since October 2019, as well as Mountain Guide at Pro Guiding Service since December 2019. Previously, Eddie worked as a Guide and Avalanche Educator at Colorado Mountain School from December 2015 to December 2023, and as a Professional Mountain Guide and Avalanche Educator at Alpine Ascents International from April 2017 to June 2021. Additional experience includes guiding at Jackson Hole Mountain Guides, finance and operations at UThermic, and various accounting positions including Financial Analyst at Burton Snowboards and Staff Accountant roles at Gallagher, Flynn & Company, LLP and Live Nation Entertainment. Eddie holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Loyola University Chicago, earned in 2009.
