Albeliza Perez

Albeliza Perez is a seasoned professional in youth and workforce development, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Youth and Workforce Development at the American Museum of Natural History since March 2017. In this role, Albeliza develops and oversees comprehensive programs for youth aged 14-24, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging workshops and training in science and museum education. Previous positions include Manager and Coordinator of Youth Development, where Albeliza played a pivotal role in enhancing internship and fellowship programs. Prior experience includes serving as Site Director at the Coalition for Hispanic Family Services, overseeing operations and program design for various youth and adult initiatives. Albeliza's freelance work as a Teaching Artist involved designing and teaching curriculum in visual arts and new media across a range of organizations. Albeliza holds a Master of Arts in Youth Studies from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Purchase College, SUNY.
