Louise Crowley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and scientific research. Since November 2009, Crowley has served as a Consultant for Academic Software Documentation and Testing at the American Museum of Natural History, focusing on validating academic software solutions and developing testing frameworks. As a Visiting Scientist, Crowley conducts research in bioinformatics and genomics, while also holding the role of Associate Director for BridgeUP: STEM, which addresses gender and opportunity gaps in computer science education. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship where Crowley contributed to significant empirical research projects and developed bioinformatics software. In addition, Crowley is an Adjunct Instructor at New York University’s School of Professional Studies and an Instructor for the KSE Masters Program at NYU. Crowley holds a PhD in Biology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from University College Cork.
