Mark Weckel has extensive experience in ecology and youth programming, currently serving as Director of Youth Programming at the American Museum of Natural History since April 2013, with previous roles there including Associate Director and Assistant Director for Youth Initiatives. Prior experience includes co-founding the Gotham Coyote Project to study the ecology of urban coyotes and leading research and land management at Mianus River Gorge. Mark Weckel has also contributed as an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College and worked as a researcher for the Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Ecology from The City College of New York, a Master's degree from Fordham University, and a Bachelor's degree from Fordham University.
