Muhi Khwaja, MPA, CFRE, CFRM, is an accomplished nonprofit leader and philanthropic expert with extensive experience in fundraising and organizational development. Currently serving as a Trainer at the Fundraising Academy and as Chief Development Officer & Co-Founder of the American Muslim Community Foundation, Muhi has contributed to the distribution of over $8.25 million to more than 500 nonprofits. As an Adjunct Faculty member at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Muhi teaches essential fundraising principles and practices. Previous roles include Chief Development Officer at The MAVEN Project and Senior Philanthropy Officer at the American Red Cross, among others. Muhi's educational background encompasses a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and various certifications in philanthropic studies and nonprofit management.
