Carol Dogans has over 20 years of experience in wealth management. Joining the Wealth Management Group at American National Bank of Texas in 2013, Carol brought with her numerous qualifications and an abundance of insight. She specializes in qualified plans, 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), pension plans, IRA's and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, providing retirement plan consulting, consultative strategies, plan design assistance, and strategic marketing.

Carol believes good customer service is about getting clients to feel good about working with you. When asked about the importance of customer service, Carol replies, “It’s about making sure that the customer is completely satisfied with the products and service that they receive.” She adds, “I make sure to treat every customer the way that I would want to be treated.” She prefers working within a community bank, because she believes there is greater agility than national competitors, due to the advantage of having close ties to the community.

As a financial advisor with a focus in retirement planning, Carol helps customers establish retirement plans for their business. She is also responsible for providing retirement training and education to financial advisors. Her ultimate goal is to inspire clients to save for a dignified retirement and offer them the path to do so.

Carol graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies - Major in Business Management from the University of Dallas in Richardson, Texas. She also has a Master of Science in Human Resources & Training from the Amberton University in Dallas, Texas. Carol offers true leadership to ANBTX with her skills. She has published numerous articles on retirement plan concepts in several professional journals and national magazines. In her spare time, she enjoys making her own natural skincare products.
