Dean Whiteside

Dean Whiteside is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in operational risk management and financial oversight. Since February 1997, Dean has served as Senior Vice President at American National Bank of Texas, focusing on the Corporate Security Business Unit and enterprise-wide operational risk programs. Prior roles include SVP/CFO/Controller at First F&M Bank, where responsibilities encompassed daily operations and financial management of a $100 million banking center while serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors and a member of the Audit Committee. Dean also held positions as SVP and Cashier/CFO/Controller at Terrell State Bank, managing a $50 million bank's operations, and began the career as Cashier and Senior Operations Officer at Citizens National Bank of Wills Point. Dean holds an MBA from Amberton University, a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and an Associate of Arts degree from Trinity Valley Community College.
