Masoom Kandahari

Dr. Kandahari serves on the AON Advisory Board representing Cancer & Blood Specialists of NOVA. Dr. Kandahari earned his medical degree from the top medical school in India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He completed his residency at New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center in NY. Followed by a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Pittsburgh where he received extensive training in autologous bone marrow transplantation and an oncology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY.

Dr. Kandahari has been practicing in Northern Virginia since 1987. He served two non-consecutive terms as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and two terms as Chairman of the Cancer Committee at Potomac Hospital. He also served as President of the Medical Staff at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.
