Kim Mohr, Ed.D. has an extensive background in education and language instruction. They have experience as an English as a Second Language instructor at Southwestern Illinois College and as a Spanish teacher at Ritenour High School, St. John Vianney High School, and the City of St. Charles School District. Additionally, they currently hold a position as a Senior Manager for Optometric Residency Programs at the American Optometric Association. Their role involves managing and accrediting optometric residency programs.

The American Optometric Association represents approximately 39,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians.
