James Tayon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product development and engineering. James started their career at J2 Scientific as a Product Design Engineer from December 2008 to May 2012. James then worked at Cenetra as Engineering Support from January 2010 to May 2012. After that, James joined Battenfeld Technologies, Inc. (Smith & Wesson), where they served as a Product Design Engineer from June 2012 to July 2016 and later as an Engineering Supervisor from August 2016 to July 2017.

In 2017, James joined American Outdoor Brands Inc. as a Product Engineering Manager. James later became the Director of Product Development from March 2019 to May 2020, and then the Vice President of Product Development from May 2020 to April 2022. Currently, James holds the position of Vice President of Marketing & Product Development at American Outdoor Brands Inc., where they oversee diverse teams involved in engineering, industrial design, sourcing, marketing, creative, and eCommerce. Their role focuses on developing and marketing disruptive and high-tech products for the Outdoor Products & Accessories market.

James Tayon has a diverse education history. From 2016 to 2018, they attended the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
