Elizabeth Sheffield serves as the Vice President of Paid Media, leading API’s advertising and strategic initiative campaigns to inform and shape public opinion about the role of natural gas and oil in strengthening US national security, growing the economy, reducing emissions, and advancing modern society.

Prior to joining API, Elizabeth worked on six winning candidates and issue campaigns in Alaska including two of the state’s largest ballot measures. During these campaigns, she worked with local and national pollsters to build data-driven operations, leveraging modeled data, persuasive creative, and strategic media buying to shift the vote outcome by double digits.

Between political cycles, she worked in advertising, executing dozens of advocacy campaigns—ranging from media engagements to programmatic digital programs—on behalf of healthcare, natural gas and oil, beverage, telecommunication, and mining clients. Elizabeth’s agency portfolio also included brand development and reputation management, pairing her design background and data-driven insights to help organizations position themselves for continued success.
