Benjamin Bluml

Executive Director And SVP Research Innovation at American Pharmacists Association

Benjamin Bluml has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles throughout their career. Benjamin started as a Staff Pharmacist at Lee's Summit Hospital in 1984 and later became an Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Truman Medical Centers in 1988. From 1991 to 1996, they served as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Saint Joseph Medical Center. In 1996, they joined the American Pharmacists Association Foundation as the Executive Director and Senior Vice President of Research & Innovation, where they provided leadership and was responsible for philanthropy, research, and innovation. Benjamin also held the position of Director of Practice-based Research Initiatives at the same organization from 1996 to 1997. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy from 2004 to 2015.

Benjamin Bluml began their education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied Pre-Pharmacy. Benjamin then went on to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Pharmacy, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) degree. Benjamin Bluml completed their education in 1984.
