Ellyn Terry

Ellyn Terry has extensive experience in educational activities and event management within various professional organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Educational Activities at the American Pharmacists Association since November 2015, Ellyn focuses on continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Prior roles include Senior Director of Education & Public Outreach at the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, where Ellyn educated the public and healthcare professionals about infectious diseases, and Director of Meetings and Education at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, overseeing convention management and continuing medical education. Earlier experiences include managing major conventions at the American Geophysical Union and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, where Ellyn handled all facets of annual conferences. Ellyn holds a B.A. in Psychology from Scripps College, completed in 1986.
