Rachel Balick has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Rachel started their career as a Communications Assistant at the National Conference of State Legislatures, where they researched and wrote articles on health policy and handled various administrative tasks. Rachel then moved on to become a Policy and Communications Manager at the Center for Policy Alternatives, where they managed the production of policy books and reports for state legislators. After that, they worked as a Communications Coordinator at the Human Rights Campaign, where they developed press plans, wrote press releases, and served as a spokesperson. Rachel then embarked on a freelance career as a Writer/Editor, working with media consulting firms and non-profit advocacy organizations.
