Carin Cain

Carin Cain is an experienced illustrator and medical illustrator with a diverse background in scientific and medical communication. Since 2011, Carin has worked as a contract illustrator for the American Physical Society and the American Institute of Physics, while also serving as the Illustration Editor for Annual Reviews. Carin owns The Art of Science, providing medical illustration services since 2005, and previously worked with Cogent Legal Graphics and Krames Patient Education Solutions. Volunteer experiences include serving as a Ski Patroller with Tahoe Backcountry Ski Patrol. Carin's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Fine Art from the University of Maryland.
