Emily Conover

Emily Conover is a physics writer with extensive experience in science communication. Currently serving as a physics writer for Science News since March 2016, Emily covers both breaking news and feature articles related to physics research. In addition, Emily has been writing for APS News since June 2015, focusing on science policy and society news. Previous roles include an internship at Science Magazine, a fellowship at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and freelance writing for the University of Chicago. Emily holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a Master's degree from the University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Brown University.
