Hassana Howe Cae

Hassana Howe has a diverse and extensive work experience in various professional societies and trade organizations. Most recently, they served as the Chief Experience and Engagement Officer (CXO) at the American Physical Society (APS Physics) starting from 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Membership at the National Quality Forum (NQF) from 2021 to 2023, where they managed the membership department and was responsible for revenue generation and member growth in the healthcare industry.

From 2018 to 2021, Hassana held the position of VP, Member & Chapter Development/Department Head at Women in Cable Telecommunications. In this role, they oversaw membership and revenue generation efforts for the professional society in the cable media industry.

Before that, they held multiple roles at PDA - Parenteral Drug Association from 2006 to 2018, including Sr. Director, Membership, Chapters, and Publications/Department(s) Head. In these positions, they directed strategic member marketing, communication, and engagement efforts for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Hassana Howe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University from 2000 to 2004. During their time as an undergraduate student, Hassana participated in a Study Abroad Exchange Program at Universidad de Granada in 2004, focusing on Spanish Language and Literature. In addition to their educational background, Hassana has obtained several certifications. Hassana became a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in January 2020. Hassana also holds an Association Leadership Certificate from Executive Lens Collective, obtained in October 2022. Most recently, in May 2023, Hassana became a CXPA Professional Member through the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA).
